Our next trip will be a train trip to Chepstow, and double up as a Bus Pass Travel trip, on Tuesday, 25th March. Please meet at Bridgend Station at 09.15am.

We will be departing Bridgend on the 09.32 Maesteg to Ebbw Vale train, changing at Cardiff to catch the 10.10 (Cheltenham probably) train to Chepstow, arriving 10.45. Once we've arrived you can decide how you want to spend your day, but a route has been recc'd that includes a walk by the church and river, a visit to the castle, a meander towards town past various historic buildings, time for lunch, then a walk back alongside the castle, river, church to the station, departing at either 14.17 or 14.53.

Costs: Anytime Day Return without Senior Railcard = £34.30. With Railcard = £22.80. There is no discount with a TfW Bus Pass. Castle entry: £9.50 under 65, £8.80 over 65.Details of the planned visits and walks will appear here as they are confirmed
