Come for an afternoon of informal German conversation with Coffee and Cake. We are a small group of friends interested in hearing and speaking German. We meet in a private house, so numbers are limited. Our sessions are informal and fun with no pressure just enjoyment. You do not have to be a fluent German speaker, but you will need a basic understanding to get the most out of the sessions

As well as enjoying "Kaffee und Kuchen" we are watching a selection of German TV programmes and slowly working our way through Edgar Reitz epic and compelling 1984 television series "Heimat" (sub-titled in English) following life in Schabbach, a small village in the Hunsrück region of the Rhineland-Palatinate, from 1919 to 1982.
