This is an occasional group although we try to go somewhere monthly if possible, whether by bus or sometimes by train (a Senior Railcard helps).

A simple offering for Tuesday, 31st March to keep us ticking over.  I'm suggesting we take the train from Bridgend to Neath (going by bus is horrendous), and once we get there people are free to do as they choose.  That said, there are some interesting options for those who want an adventure, e.g. a walk along the Neath Canal towards Aberdulais (or you can walk up the Tennant Canal and back along the Neath); or a wander through the town to Gnoll Park where they have a revamped visitor centre/cafe and walks to follow.  I must forewarn you - I have done the canal walks several times but not recently, and I have not recce'd the walk to Gnoll Park, so you follow me at risk!

Train times: Bridgend 10.26 - arrive Neath 10.46  Return - Neath 14.03 - arrive 14.22

The cost of a return ticket with Senior Railcard is £4.10 for these trains.

To join this trip just turn up on the day.
